Hiddink to Chelsea, McClaren to Villa and other stuff…

Scarlett Johansson has been telling people how she likes to keep things quiet and keep her private life private. Or something. Above is a picture of her With Eva Mendes that represents two thirds of the best dream The Spoiler ever had.

While Scarlett may like to keep things close to her chest, there are plenty of other people who are more than happy to tell anyone and everyone exactly what’s on their mind. Thankfully for us, many of these people tend to be sports journalists with wild claims about transfers and stuff.

Here’s what we know about the murky world of transfer dealings from the William and Kate’s of the broadsheets and the Harry and Chelsy’s of the tabloids…

Carlo Ancelotti has decided to take a year off and go backpacking around Thailand listening to Jack Johnson. He’s also decided to do some of this:

“I will take a year off and look around, study how my colleagues work.”

The fact he’s taken this so well and is still prepared to learn and not be stuck in his ways is bloody good credit to him and makes The Spoiler like him even more than we already did – enjoy your holiday, Carlo!

When Spoiler Towers opened for business this morning it seemed as good as done that Guus Hiddink would be the man to replace Ancelotti. However, Chelsea don’t want to cough up the £4million required to release Hiddink from his Turkey contract.

Apparently, Hiddink wants Chelsea to pay the sum as compensation as he is loathe to break a contract on a point of ‘principal’. This could run for a while, although he’ll probably end up at Chelsea in the end.

With Ancelotti taking his sabbatical, the Telegraph reckons the Aston Villa job now looks like going to Steve McClaren. The Spoiler’s resident Villa fan is thrilled by this idea…

Elsewhere, there’s talk about Samir Nasri going to Manchester United after he said:

“Do I want to go to Man United? First, we should see if it’s real and if it is concrete.”

It’s not quite the ‘come and get me’ plea the Belfast Telegraph are painting it as, but it’s a bit of a ball-ache for Arsenal. He won’t go to Man Utd though.

Finally, in actually happening news, Premier League new-boys Swansea City look set to smash their transfer record after a £3.5million bid for Watford’s Danny Graham was accepted earlier today.
