Arsene Wenger needs to stop talking very, very soon…

Big mouth strikes again…

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur - Emirates Stadium

There have been three distinct periods during Arsene Wenger’s time in charge of Arsenal.

First there was Le Professeur Period. People were whining about how he didn’t have enough passion and how he’d never cut it in the English game because he didn’t go mental enough.

Then there was The Blind Period when he didn’t see anything. It was quite fortunate for him that it coincided with the time when Patrick Vieira, Martin Keown, Dennis Bergkamp and Co were going through their Nasty Gits Period.

Now we’re well into his Blue Period

ARSENE WENGER IS AS MAD AS HELL, AND HE’S NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!’ He wants you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell – ‘I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!’

This is what he has to say about UEFA after the Gunners’ Champions League exit to Barcelona…

“We are out of the Champions League, we have lost one of our big ambitions, we have been punished with a lot of damages and on top of that, we have to say sorry to UEFA.

“We have done nothing wrong. They organised the competition, they named the referees who come to the games.

“When you have a football game of that stature, you cannot come out with decisions like that and show a lot of arrogance on top of that.

“We can all understand that we can make wrong decisions, but after that it becomes dictatorship. It’s not any more common sense.”

A ruder site than The Spoiler may suggest that Wenger is in a less than perfect position to make criticisms because of bad decisions borne of dictatorships and arrogance…
